Desk profiles, positions, automations, settings and the local Bluetooth binding are stored on the device. A Bluetooth peripheral identifier is specific to the Apple device that discovered it and is never uploaded by DeskOrbit.

Privacy at DeskOrbit
DeskOrbit controls compatible height-adjustable desks over Bluetooth. It does not require a DeskOrbit account and contains no advertising, third-party analytics or tracking.

Optional iCloud sync
During a verified DeskOrbit Pro purchase or trial, the user may use iCloud sync. Desk profiles, positions and automations are then stored in the user’s private CloudKit database so they can appear on the user’s Apple devices.
Local Bluetooth bindings are excluded. DeskOrbit operates no product server and the developer does not receive these private records.
Purchases, notifications and widgets
Apple processes purchases, restoration, refunds and trial transactions through StoreKit. DeskOrbit reads verified purchase status to unlock features but does not receive payment-card details.
Local notifications are created on the device for automation reminders. Widgets read a minimal snapshot from the shared App Group and do not access CloudKit directly.
Deletion and management
Deleting desks, positions or automations creates synchronized deletions when iCloud sync is active. Removing the app removes its local data according to the operating system. The user can manage iCloud data and purchases with the tools provided by Apple.
